Neighborhood History Our own neighbor Paul Grunland has written an article about the local history and leads tours each year. Each year East Bay Municipal Utility District's Ranger Bob Flasher uses MariLark Buckeye trees to help restore local creeks and grasslands. Check out our favorite www links here at MariLark. The MariLark Neighborhood Watch program began in 2002 to help keep the community safe. The program is one backed by the city of Berkeley to help combat the increasing theft and vandalism in the Berkeley hills. We still have to formalize the group with the city and get signs in the neighborhood. |
